Vision to Reality Newsletter

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Community Open House event on June 11th and to Cedar Street Community Center for being such an amazing host — they are building community and creating a space that is truly inclusive for all. Whether you stopped by for a few minutes or stayed for the full discussion, your ideas, feedback, and enthusiasm for the latest projects in the Revitalizing the Heart of Bridgewater: Vision to Reality initiative were invaluable.

For those who couldn’t make it, here’s a quick recap:

We shared exciting plans for:

  • Summer Street Park – a transformative project repurposing the former Mobil Gas Station into a vibrant public space.

  • Central Square Enhancements – improving walkability, connectivity, and aesthetics at the heart of our town.

  • Better Integration with Bridgewater State University – creating stronger physical and social connections between campus and community.

We’re thrilled to be moving these projects forward and especially eager to collaborate with local businesses as we bring these improvements to life.

Special thanks to Tommy Hogan and the Cedar Street Community Center team for creating a welcoming space for meaningful conversations and community-building.

This is just the beginning. We’re building with you, for you — and your continued input will help shape a downtown Bridgewater that reflects our shared values and future vision.

Stay tuned for updates, future engagement opportunities, and ways to get involved. Let’s turn this vision into reality, together.
